8 Week Course Starts Thursday October 3rd - 21st November 8-10pm @ Embrace Dance Fitness, Penryn 8 Week Sacred Container for Women wanting to explore their Dark Feminine, combining: - Serpentine Movement - Dark Goddess Embodiment - Alchemical Keys - Ritual Art We will be dancing with the elements and awakening our shimmering Kundalini life force through the breath, voice and movement. Shilly will teach serpentine movement technique from the Fusion Belly Dance style and we will explore the embodiment of the Dark Goddess energy through mask making, ceremony and witnessing each other in compassion and acceptance. The Dark Feminine is our authentic truth, our wildness, our fierce love, our sacred rage....one of the most demonised aspects of the feminine. We reclaim these aspects of self as we transform in the alchemical flames that which has been holding us back from fully embodying our power. We will be co-creating a group ritual art piece combining storytelling and dance as an embodied prayer. We will complete the course with a private ceremony of witnessing each other in our edgiest elements, which may be radically different for each woman. Perhaps it is about slowing down and being, perhaps you want to take off the masks of perfection and let go of control, or to be seen in your full erotic expression. There is freedom to experiment with costume, nudity, music, voice and props. Ritual Art can be beautiful, grotesque, wierd, funny or heart-achingly painful. It is about capturing the spine-tingling rapture of being alive.
